Job Description:
Our client, a Japanese F&B management company, is looking for a Japanese speaking Service Manager for their fine dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exception service to guests, manage reservations and handle customer feedback
Ensure ample stock levels of ingredients and liaise with suppliers to replenish as necessary
Manage the costs, sales and profit & loss of the store and other administrative matters
Oversee the front of house staff and communicate with Japanese chef to ensure smooth operations
Train service staff and maintain service levels
Develop manuals and SOPs for the store etc.
Job Requirements:
At lease 3 years of experience in a fine dining Japanese restaurant as a restaurant manager or assistant restaurant manager.
Conversational level of Japanese to communicate with chef from Japan and service Japanese speaking guests
Able to work flexibly with midnight shifts
Independent and able to manage and maintain service levels of the store
