Is the pale orc in the books? ›

This isn't Azog, Azog would have been long dead at this point, and in the books was long dead even before the events of the book The Hobbit, his son Bolg was sort of the main goblin at the battle of five armies, and there was no mention that Azog was pale, only that Dain II Ironfoot had slain Azog in Moria.

Orkish language

The Orcs had no language of their own, merely a pidgin of many various languages. However, individual tribes developed dialects that differed so widely that Westron, often with a crude accent, was used as a common language.

In the climactic battle, Azog fought and killed Náin, the king of the Iron Hills, but the Pale Orc was beheaded by Náin's son, Dáin Ironfoot II. The Dwarves impaled Azog's head on a stake, and that ended his reign of terror.
